Chat-specific rules are common sense:


Rules  


By joining Fate Stay Night OC Battle you are stating you have read the rules and you will abide by them.


1) No spam. This includes icons and emoticons. (please don't use more than two in one post or too often.) Also, large thumbs are not allowed. Small emoticon thumbs only.

2) Do not promote your room, art or website. In short;  no advertising. However, linking a prospective role play partner to a less crowded room is permitted.

3) Use brackets if you post OOC (out of character = just chatting, not rp-ing). Brackets are ), }, and ]. Brackets are NOT |. Note; Please use the OOC room for large discussions.

4) Post a character profile before rp-ing (see below for details)


5) Do not bold and use caps lock at the same time in the room and don't use bold in excess. Note: Bold should be used for requesting a rp. Also, try to keep bold RP requests to four or less lines. If the request must exceed this limit, use the subscript code as well.

6) Keep it clean. Sexually explicit roleplaying of ANY kind is NOT permitted in any chatrooms on dAmn. This means no requesting 'Yaoi', 'Yuri', incest, or anything else violating the dAmn and DeviantART rules. If you are caught requesting these types of Rps, you will be warned. Repeat offenders will be banned and reported to the dAmn administrators. This also applies to roleplays outside of RPDream.

7) No 'BOTS' in the room, with exception of the admins bot. Note; Machines is not a roleplay rank.

8) Masters and there Servants will be kicked if they idle for an hour; Masters with away messages will also be kicked. Also, please refrain from using profane or offensive away messages.

9) Have an issue with a member? Deal with it somewhere else. Keep drama out of the chatroom. (You may use RPDOOCOfficial if you have nowhere else.) Please respect and treat each other as you'd want to be treated - this is called toleration, not personal respect. And please no excessive swearing or offensive language aimed at others.


Multiple warnings will result in a kick and/or ban but do not have to take a ladder system.


Ranks  

Masters: Ones who are chosen to serve during the Holy Grail Wars and who weild a servant.

:bulletPurple:Servants: Epic Heros of your own creations that become the Masters weapon to obtain the holy grail.

Magick Teachers: People who can teach others magick spells and incantations to help the masters gain strength and be able to protect and serve with there servants.

Saber: Servants placed within this class are agile and powerful melee warriors. It is commonly assumed to be the best class overall, with high ratings in all categories. It is one of the three Knight classes, together with Lancer and Archer and also possesses the Riding skill like the Rider class.

Lancer: Servants placed within this class are very agile and skilled with long-range melee weapons, such as spears, lances, etc. It is one of the three Knight classes, together with Archer and Saber.

Archer: Servants placed within this class are usually proficient with projectiles and can survive longer without a Master nearby, thanks to their special ability Independent Action. It is one of the three Knight classes, together with Lancer and Saber.

Rider: Servants placed within this class place emphasis upon speed and powerful Noble Phantasms. Their special skill is Riding, which allows them to fully utilize abilities of their mounts (ranging from simple horses, through motorcycles, to divine creatures).
Caster: Servants placed within this class are adept in magecraft and have a special ability akin to Reality Marble, called Territory Creation, which alters or creates space around them to enhance their sorcery.

Assassin: Servants placed within this class are always, as a rule, one of the 19 Hassan i Sabbah, the leaders of the clan of the Hashshashins who passed their name down.(The Assassin in Fate/stay night summoned by

Caster is an exception, an aberration in the system, as he was summoned by another Servant.) This rule comes from how the word "assassin" itself finds its etymological roots in that clan. The Assassins' special ability is Presence Concealment, which allows them to remain undetected. Offset by their stealth is their weak combat skills. Due to this, Assassins often target Masters instead of Servants.

Beserker: Servants placed within this class are always incarnations of heroes who have gone berserk on their lifetime. This trait allows them to use the special ability Mad Enhancement, which trades their consciousness (i.e. sanity) for a large power boost. Most Masters are incapable of controlling their Servant once Mad Enhancement has been activated, which eventually results in their death.

Avenger: It is not one of the seven normal classes and was only summoned during the Third War.



Please ask if you are unsure what weapon goes in which class. If a class is requested that does not yet exist, it will be taken into consideration. Do not expect it unless there is a large demand for a specific, new class.

Try to include as much detail as you can, starting at the top and building your way down with the description. Three or four proper, complete sentences should be enough to get a clear picture. Please write out a written description before linking to a picture reference.)

History: (What is your master character's past? Please, try to be original and detailed as possible here. Start at their birth/creation, until you reach their current age. Leaving out details will not add mystery to the character, it will only make it harder for you to be accepted. Try to have at least five lines of information.)

Personality: (Any words on what the character feels? How does s/he react emotionally to situations? How they treat people? What are their likes and dislikes? Do they have any personality disorders or cognitive tics?)

Weaknesses: (What are the character's weaknesses? In a fight? In general? What can physically hurt or kill the character? Note: try to avoid "temporary" or "slightly" in describing a weakness. The weakness must be enough to balance out the strength of the character. Be specific and detailed. This is to create limitations on otherwise limitless characters - we're not mindreaders. This is the most-common problem with getting approved, so think carefully before deciding what is acceptable.)
